ROOTED IN TRADITION
Oleg’s love of cooking began in Uzhgorod, a city in Western Ukraine near the borders of Hungary and Slovakia. As a child, he would climb onto a chair in the kitchen while his mother was at work, reaching for a treasured collection of handwritten family recipes passed down through generations.
INSPIRED BY CURIOSITY
He spent hours studying those pages, trying to recreate dishes with whatever ingredients were available. Those early moments sparked a lifelong passion for creative cooking, resourcefulness, and the emotional power of food.
